Rain is falling, leaves are dropping, days are shorter. Must be that summer is over and it's time to get back into life on the ground. My travels this summer went from Prince Edward Island to Clifftop, West Virginia, including Southern week at the Ashokan Fiddle and Dance camp. Oh, and the three highlight old time gatherings in the northeast… Black Creek, Harry Smith, and Lake Genero. And, frosting on the cake is that we had the company of many Australians along the way! It is very touching to know that our American old time music is appreciated around the world.
I'd best get to editing some sound files.
In the meantime, check out the forums at the Fiddle Hangout for a blend of wisdom and opinion.
Next up: Beginning Old Time Fiddle workshop at Fiddle Hell. And, a continuing season of my Aussie Bush Band jams at the Old Songs Center in Voorheesville.
Keep jamming'.
