Hi all, August is upon us. One thing that means is that I'll be generating a new random number and matching it to the Slippery Hill page of source recordings that are notated in the Milliner-Koken Collection of American Fiddle Tunes. We keep a running list on a Facebook page. Join the group if you're interested. Midway through the month, we do the same thing for a Kentucky tune from the Jeff Todd Titon collection.
Otherwise, I'm busy with the day job, and trying to keep up my callouses for a couple of private events with the Shoe String Band. You can catch us at the Tuthilltown Distillery, though, on Saturday August 16th in the afteroon.
